This is a PEACEFUL march.

It’s time we all stand up to this RUTHLESS company and demand change. 

Start planning your banners, signs & vehicle sayings for the 3rd WORLDWIDE – GLOBAL movement to take down MONSANTO and take back our FOOD! on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 9:30 am.

We are marching PRO NATURE – PRO ORGANIC- PRO LOCAL FOOD – PRO ENVIRONMENT – PRO SEED SAVING – PRO FUTURE GENERATIONS – PRO FARMERS PROTECTION

The route planned is as follows as well as times:

Citizens wishing to join the March will gather at Swy-a-lana mainstage at 9:30am, then begin a march along Comox/Bowen Rd. at 10 am. They will stop at the corner of Dufferin Cres. & Bowen Rd. then proceed to Country Club mall.

IMPORTANT – please obey all traffic lights & intersections; be courteous of other pedestrians & motorists. At no time will anyone be stopping traffic to allow marchers to cross the roadways; it is important that we are pedestrians and we need to follow traffic light crossings.

This is a peaceful march.

The Only March Against Monsanto on Vancouver Island on May 24 is in Victoria.

The Comox Valley March Against Monsanto is in need of an organizer and the previous organizer is willing to help, but will be out of town on May 24.

The ONLY March Against Monsanto that is happening on Vancouver Island this year is in Victoria.  There is also one in Vancouver.

Unfortunately, due to lack of an organizer, there won’t be a March Against Monsanto in the Comox Valley this time.
